Your AI builds the site. Your client edits it in WordPress.
ThemeForge turns HTML into a WordPress theme with real admin fields. Change the design later, rebuild the theme, and your client’s content stays where they left it.

Try it: your edits stand for the client’s content in WordPress fields. A rebuild replaces the design and keeps the fields.
Three steps from HTML to a site your client runs
- Step 1
Mark up the fields
Tell ThemeForge which text, images and lists the client should edit: add attributes by hand, in Webflow’s attribute panel, or let your AI assistant place them from our rules at
themeforge.pro/ai. - Step 2
Preview the admin
Create a free account, add the site and open its WordPress admin right in your browser. Every field is there, filled with your content.
- Step 3
Install and hand over
Subscribe, download the theme and install it on any WordPress hosting. Your client edits content in the admin; you keep changing the design and update the theme without touching their content.
A WordPress site your client can actually run
Field groups per page
Text, images, rich text and links, named the way you named them in the markup.
Lists the client controls
Menus, team cards, price lists: the client adds, removes and reorders rows.
Site settings
Logo, phone, address and footer text in one place for every page.
WooCommerce templates
Catalog, product, cart and checkout built from your own layout.
Learn more →Polylang and WPML
Pages, fields and settings per language, with a translation helper in the admin.
Learn more →Forms with saved entries
Every submission is saved in the admin before it is sent, so nothing gets lost.
Learn more →Update from wp-admin
One button pulls the new build. A failed update rolls itself back.
Your code survives
Custom PHP, CSS and JS in protected files are never overwritten.
No paid plugins
Fields run on free Secure Custom Fields, installed with the theme. Already on ACF or ACF PRO? The theme uses it.
Is ThemeForge right for your site?
Good fit
- Company, service and landing sites
- Blogs, portfolios and case studies
- Catalogs and shops on WooCommerce
- Webflow sites moving to WordPress
- Sites you hand over to a client
Not a fit
- Apps with logins, dashboards or their own database
- React or Next.js projects as they are: export static HTML first, or ask your AI to
- Pages built for Elementor or Gutenberg: you get a classic PHP theme
Start from where your site lives
Let your assistant do the markup
Give Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT one link. It reads where the attributes go, marks up the site and checks its own work against the same rules the builder uses.
- themeforge.pro/ai · plain-text rules for assistants
- Markup check · free, no account, before you build
- Markup guide · the same rules, written for people
# Tell your assistant Read https://themeforge.pro/ai and mark up this site so the client can edit the menu. # Check the result before building curl -X POST https://themeforge.pro/api/validate-markup \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"pages":[{"name":"index.html","html":"…"}]}'

Before you ask
What happens to my client’s content when I change the design?
It stays. Content lives in WordPress fields, not in the theme files. A rebuild replaces templates and styles; the fields and everything typed into them remain.
Do I need to know PHP?
No. You mark the editable parts with HTML attributes, by hand or through your AI assistant. ThemeForge writes the PHP.
What is free?
The markup check needs no account. With a free account you build your theme and open its WordPress admin in the browser. Downloading and updating themes needs the subscription: $20 a month, cancel any time, refund within 14 days.
Is this an AI website builder?
No. ThemeForge does not host your site or draw it for you. You bring the design; you get an ordinary WordPress theme that runs on any hosting and belongs to you.
Does it work with Elementor?
No. You get a classic theme where the client edits content in admin fields instead of a page builder, so the layout cannot be broken by accident.
Can I bring a Lovable, Bolt or v0 project?
Not as a React project. Export it as static HTML, or ask your AI assistant to rewrite it as HTML using our rules, then build the theme.
Which plugins does the theme need?
Only free ones. Secure Custom Fields installs with the theme; if the site already runs ACF or ACF PRO, the theme uses that. WooCommerce, Polylang or WPML only if you use them.
What happens if I cancel?
The site keeps working. The theme lives on your hosting and does not check the subscription; only downloading new builds and updating stop.
What if WordPress learns to import sites by itself?
An importer moves content into pages once. ThemeForge gives your client named fields and lets you rebuild the design later without moving the content again.
